Well that's easy to do, but doesn't havea  nice 'feel'.... but there are
tons of scripts around that will do thatl.

I have given up the idea that I will ever get this applet-servlet
problem solved, so therefore I am looking toward a simpler solution,
namely, a PHP-based chatroom based on this premise:

An HTML frame with a frameset consisting of a continuously renewing PHP
script that will pull a flat file of messages and refresh itself with
it.  The other frameset would be a form for the user to fill out.

Is that a feasible idea or am I lost in space?
